"The environment for living is an aspect of culture which has been modified and cultivated to fit for the life style of human being. Somtimes following and sometimes controlling it. While it is a physical function of environmental element to equip minimal nececities for city to do its role, it can be said that it is a role of environment to harmonize and unity them for better effect and for more intimate with human being. This report draws the issue recognizing the importance of role of signs in urburn environment through surveying and analyzing the current condition and people's way of thinking on signs, and looks into symbolization of them as a concrete plan of improving visual aspect of urburn landscape in view of development of northern district of Busan.
