" Mechanical civilization accomplished fast development by the industrial revolution, and it continued to invention of computer. Soon, computer was diffused to all fields of our society, and it brought immense changes to our everyday life. Specially, it brought great changes in animation field which consisted manually and commercial assessment of computer animation is rising gradually. In 1986, first 3D computer animation film ""Luxo Jr. "" which directed by John Lasseter, produced by Pixar and announced first time in SIGGRAPH being done showing relationship of third dimension realism computer animation that could not see in existing animation. It was great revolution in computer animation field. After that, Pixar spent a lot of time and investment to study better technique in 3D computer animation and made new unique special quality and creative episode. Such are Red's Dream (1987), Tin Toy (1988 Academy Award-winners, Best Animated Short Film), Knickknack (1989) and Geri's Game Academy Award-winners, Best Animated Short Film)...... When ""Luxo Jr."" is announced in 1986, it was postmodernism period which appeared from 1960s. It was the reaction of the modernism that dominated culture and art of West Europe until early 1960s. However, it is not easy to find a specificity of postmodernism because the concept of postmodernism is used in many various meaning and the definition is extremely equivocal. Therefore, this research describe and analyze specificity of ""Luxo Jr ."" and postmodernism to help in comprehension of computer animation work that is announced in future doing comparative analysis. I will write in order of producer and production of ""Luxo Jr ."", contents of ""Luxo Jr ."", and comparison of ""Luxo Jr .""and postmodernism. We have to deal with this variant social phenomenons and the prosperity of culture, and need to find our new direction. This is one of our question that we have to study and prepare for our variable culture. For this preparation, we need to establish `and develop mid and long term plan, and need absolute government support that world of scholars and specialists may can participate actively . "
