The students studying arts in college have two purposes using a computer, on one hand is as the tools for their works and on the other hand is as the new expression of materials. I think that the goal of programming education of the junior college of arts and crafts is “understanding computer programming language as new expression of some materials”. I have practiced some seminar through “DBN(DesignByNumbers)“ and “SqueakToys” systems. And then the beginners leaning programming language have some interesting for the programming, and they could deepen its understanding.
