2007 INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION DESIGN COMPETITION

It is our firm conviction that design industry, where diverse cultures and ideas mix with each other, will offer a new possibility for the future in the twenty-first century. In this transition for design development, Korea should conduct intensive research in the field of design to be a design power and for the purpose, should provide environment favorable to design development and opportunities to have access to designs regularly.

International Communication Design Competition, which enters upon its twelfth anniversary this year, is designed to find and foster excellent professional designers and thus contribute to the creation of environment encouraging development of design industry.

Communication Design Association of Korea (CDAK) has made efforts to place the international design competition as a characteristic and creative design competition for up-to-date creative designs, and new art and communication designs.

We assure that 2007 International Communication Design Competition will provide an opportunity to exchange information of international designs and compare works of Korean and abroad rising designers.

CDAK has organized International Communication Design Competition every year for international exchange of cultural industry and cooperation between designers.
International Communication Design Competition 2007 examines entries on the standard of idea and completion in the field of originality, innovativeness, suggestiveness and inspiration with a view to reinforce professionalism of designers. Details of the Competition are as follows:
